Agrocorec was founded in 2014 by a small group of enthusiastic academic professionals from a diversity of fields ranging from environmental engineering and biotechnology to microbiology for the food industry.
We are very proud that the operation of our production plant results in positive environmental effects by making use of 100% renewable energy during the process, taking advantage of the water collected from the rain and treated in the plant. Additionally, our products do not contain any type of preservatives or sweeteners, since they are 100% natural from dehydrated fruits and vegetables.
Our photothermal dryers operate under lesser temperatures and lower speeds than conventional dryers, obtaining however the same humidity levels. By doing this, preservation of the original nutrients, flavors and colors is maximized, maintaining the fruits’ and vegetables’ essence although they are dried.
